The LEGO transit time


In this updated activity, students will explore the math behind an unusual study: how long it takes to pass a LEGO head through a body? They'll calculate time intervals, convert between days and hours, and work with averages (mean) to analyze the data. 

 📝Don’t forget to start with a fun discussion using the starter slides about the strange but true nature of this experiment, inviting students to think critically about gathering data. See the speaker notes in the stater slides for answers and guiding prompts to facilitate the discussion.
